Now, I know there are many different opinions about a can of jellied cranberry sauce. It's weird, it's from a can, it's shaped like a can... But all that aside, I have to have it. It's tradition. Well, it's my tradition. Don't frown upon me just yet.
I actually disliked the stuff as a kid, but I tried making my own last year and it was good. Made from fresh ingredients all simmering on the stove and smelling delicious. Yet, it wasn't right. It didn't jiggle and it didn't melt in my mouth.
Today is Senna's preschool Thanksgiving celebration and it's my job to bring the cranberry sauce. So I opted for the jelly kind. I made jokes to a friend about how fancy and amazing it will be. Which got me thinking. How can I turn this around and make it fun?
