SWISSTED. Swiss Modernist Rock Posters

If you've never checked out Fab.com, you should. There are many flash sale sites out there, but this is really one of the good ones if you're looking for fun modern design. Featured on Fab is an ongoing rock poster redesign project called Swissted. Swissted creator and Stereotype Design firm owner, Mike Joyce creates concert posters in the modern and simple International Typographic style (aka Swiss Style or Swiss Modern).

I was immediately interested in them because of the use of big bold colors and the solid lines of the letters used. I find them very visually appealing and think the kids will too. The girls' playroom has been lacking in the artwork area and these prints could really pull the room together. Here are some of my favorite Swissted picks for the playroom.

 Thought the font used was Helvetica like me? Nope, each print is styled in lowercase berthold akzidenz-grotesk medium. Check out Stereotype Design, they have quite an impressive porfolio!
